Senior Business Development required -


EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Full-time + Hybrid

LOCATION

Gurugram / Bengaluru / Mumbai

REMUNERATION

- Fixed: INR 12 Lacs Per Annum (CTC)

- Target Based Incentive: 3% on Total Project Billing


KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Achieve the organisation’s annual revenue and client acquisition targets.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key agencies, brands, and corporate partners.
  • Develop a consistent pipeline of advertising film and content projects.
  • Strengthen the company’s market position within the ad-film, corporate and digital content ecosystem.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual business growth plans aligned with organisation goals.
  • Identify and target potential clients in relevant industries (FMCG, beauty, automotive, fashion, lifestyle, tech, etc.).
  • Create effective go-to-market and pitch strategies for each segment.
  • Work closely with leadership to define pricing structures and business models.
  • Maintain awareness of industry movements, agency account shifts, and upcoming campaign opportunities.

Client Acquisition & Account Management

  • Prospect, approach, and convert new clients and agencies through presentations, meetings, and proactive outreach.
  • Develop compelling pitch decks and proposals with the creative and production teams.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle — inquiry, pitch, negotiation, and contract closure.


  • Manage post-project client feedback and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Nurture existing accounts for repeat and referral business.

    Creative & Production Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Producers, Directors, and Creative Leads to align business opportunities with production capabilities.

  • Ensure creative alignment and commercial feasibility during negotiations.

  • Support in developing treatment notes, showreels, and pitch materials.

  • Track project status for timely delivery and client communication. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate in Business, Marketing, Media, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7–10 years in business development within advertising, media, or film production.

  • Understanding of ad film production, agency workflows, and creative pitching.

  • CRM tools, MS Office, presentation tools, budgeting tools.

  • Understanding of video production, ad filmmaking, creative and production workflows (preferred).


  • Negotiation, presentation, relationship building, creative collaboration.
  • Strong industry network; willingness to travel for client meetings.

  • KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

The following performance indicators will be used to evaluate the Senior Business Development Nomad’s quarterly and annual performance.

  • Achieve the defined annual revenue target ₹3 Crores from new client acquisitions, measured quarterly and annually.
  • Maintain a total revenue contribution of at least 25–30% of the company’s top-line on a consistent basis.
  • Onboard 3–5 new clients or agencies per quarter, expanding the company’s active portfolio.
  • Maintain an average project value (APV) in the range of ₹5,00,000–₹15,00,000 per project, focusing on quality and profitability.
  • Ensure a repeat business ratio of 60% or higher, reflecting sustained client satisfaction and trust.
  • Achieve a pitch win rate of 30–40% across all proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain an average lead-to-closure time of 45 days or less, ensuring efficient conversion from opportunity to deal.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline with a total value equal to or exceeding three times the quarterly revenue target, ensuring healthy business continuity.
  • Keep forecast accuracy within ±10% variance, reflecting strong planning and reporting discipline.
  • Deliver a gross profit margin of 20–25% or higher on each project, balancing creative ambition with financial sustainability.
  • Participate in 6–8 key industry events or networking activities per year, strengthening the company’s visibility and relationships in the advertising and production ecosystem.
  • Establish 3–5 new strategic alliances per quarter, such as agency tie-ups, director collaborations, or brand partnerships that expand business potential.
  • Demonstrate an increasing trend in mentions, referrals, and collaborations year-over-year, reflecting improved brand presence and market influence.
