Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services.In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.In Cash & Trade, you will be part of the product management team that provides seamless and cost-effective solutions to customers. Whether it is through conducting market research, or by enhancing a product or system's features to meet customers' needs, you will have every opportunity to shape the business. You will also be exposed to a myriad of Trade and Cash Management products through various marketing campaigns and joint visits with our relationship managers.
Job Purpose
Support the Head of Global Transaction Services in driving operational efficiency, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration across a dynamic and rapidly evolving business unit.
Key Accountabilities & Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution Support
: develop, refine, and track strategic priorities and long-term objectives and oversee the execution of key strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and timely delivery.
Operational Excellence:
streamline and optimize operational processes within GTS. Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
act as a central point of contact and facilitator across various department teams and ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Connect with external stakeholders that influence the ecosystem.
Executive Communications & Reporting:
prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and communications for internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and regulators. Synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
Meeting Management:
plan, organize, and facilitate key leadership meetings, town halls, and strategic offsites. Develop agendas, manage follow-ups, and ensure decisions are documented and executed.
Project & Program Management:
lead or oversee critical projects and programs that span multiple teams or departments within GTS, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis:
track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics for GTS. Provide regular updates and analyses to the Head of GTS, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
Market Intelligence:
track and identify key market trends applicable to banking and other industries which could impact our clients and leverage the same in the interest of the Bank.
Ad-hoc Support & Problem Solving:
provide rapid response and support on urgent matters, troubleshoot issues, and act as an escalation point for various operational and strategic challenges.
Cultural Champion:
help foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture within the GTS team in Mumbai and beyond.
Required Experience
5 – 6 years of experience in a similar role.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
MBA or a professional degree from a premier institute or compensating experience

- Understanding of Global Transaction Services (GTS), including Cash Management, Trade Finance, Payments, and/or Securities Services products and operations
- Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives from conception to successful execution
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver under pressure
- Superior communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- High degree of business acumen and the ability to quickly grasp complex business concepts and operational challenges
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence across all levels of an organization without direct authority
- Proactive, self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- High ethical standards and discretion when handling confidential information
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance within the Indian or global market
