Senior Accountant

Location: Gachibowli, Hyderabad Reporting To: VP Finance, GM Finance and Accounts Manager Industry: Real Estate & Construction Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements, and support financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finalizing accounts, preparing returns, and maintaining financial integrity across the business. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain books of accounts in Tally/ERP Handle day-to-day transactions (sales, purchase, receipts, payments) Finalize accounts monthly/annually as per IGAAP/Ind AS Manage ledgers, journal entries, and cash/bank reconciliations Compliance & Taxation Prepare and file: GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) TDS returns and challans Professional Tax, PF, ESI as applicable Coordinate with tax consultants/auditors for compliance matters MIS & Reporting Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis Maintain vendor/customer ageing reports Audit Support Provide data for internal and statutory audits Ensure proper documentation and compliance with audit requirements Implement and monitor internal controls Candidate Requirements: Qualification : B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred Experience : 4–6 years in core accounting role Location Preference : Candidate should be based in or willing to work in Gachibowli, Hyderabad Tools : Tally Prime / Zoho / Excel / ERP systems Skills : GST, TDS, Accounting Finalization, Reconciliation, Audit Preparation Compensation: Maximum upto 6.0 L per annum Show more Show less
