Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a reputed organization in Oman. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and hands-on experience managing day-to-day financial operations. This role requires accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to work independently while supporting the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Review and verify financial transactions, vouchers, and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations.
• Support management with financial analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–5 years of professional experience in accounting (GCC experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho /Tally / ERP systems).
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
