Senior Accountant

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with statutory requirements, and support management with financial insights. The role requires strong experience in real-estate accounting, project costing, and handling complex transactions typical to property development and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliation. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards. Handle real-estate specific accounting such as: Project cost tracking RERA-related documentation Revenue recognition for construction-linked plans Maintain accurate books for multiple projects simultaneously. Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits. Monitor cash flow, project budgets, and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings. Implement and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes. Support management with MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial insights

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA Inter preferred. Minmum 3 years of accounting experience; minimum 3 years in real estate required. Strong knowledge of RERA, GST, and real-estate financial practices. Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / real-estate ERP software. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with MIS reporting. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and deadline discipline. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

Preferred Attributes

Experience handling audits and statutory compliance end-to-end. Understanding of land costing, joint development agreements, and revenue models. Strong communication and coordination abilities. - immediate joining preferred
