Job Description

Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Devi Pavitra. With a strong background in accounting and finance, you'll oversee daily accounting operations, lead month-end and year-end closings, mentor junior staff, and provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting operations, including account reconciliations, internal controls, and budgeting. - Leadership: Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and resolving complex accounting issues. - Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks, and provide insights to support strategic decisions. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. - Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation. Requirements:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. - Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a senior role. - Certifications: CPA certification preferred. - Skills: - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) - Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively What We Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional growth and development - Collaborative and dynamic work environment
