Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Control & Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting, book-keeping, and reconciliations in Tally/ERP.

• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements in coordination with the

CA.

• Maintain accurate ledgers for vendors, customers, and inter-company transactions.

• Support in preparation of MIS reports and dashboards for management and investors.

• Assist CFO in tracking unit economics, margins, and product-line profitability.

2. Budgeting, Cost & Expense Management

• Maintain and monitor department-wise budgets (Ops, R&D, Sales, Engineering).

• Perform variance analysis (Budget vs Actual) and highlight cost deviations.

• Support in implementing cost-control frameworks and approval systems.

• Verify vendor bills, GRNs, and expense claims to prevent leakages.

• Assist in benchmarking production and operational costs vs industry standards.

3. Cash Flow & Capital Management

• Maintain daily cash and bank position; prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.

• Track receivables, payables, and working capital cycles.

• Support in debt and loan documentation, bank reconciliations, and project financing.

• Assist in preparing financial models and fundraising documentation under CFO guidance.

• Help apply for government subsidies and incentives relevant to manufacturing/biotech.

4. Compliance & Audit Support

• Coordinate with external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.

• Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and ROC filings.

• Maintain proper documentation for CPCB, FSSAI, Factory Act, and other plant-related

compliances.

• Help design and implement internal control systems for inventory and vendor

management.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with:

- Plant & Operations teams – monitor consumption, wastage, and production cost.

- Procurement & Stores – track vendor payments, GRNs, and credit terms.

- Sales & BD – reconcile customer receivables and order-to-cash cycles.

- R&D & Projects – monitor and report trial expenses and project budgets.

6. Support to CFO & CA

• Prepare data packs and financial summaries for management reviews.

• Help automate reporting (Excel → Tally/ERP → MIS dashboards).

• Participate in building the company’s 3–5 year financial model and capital plan.

• Assist in board meeting documentation, financial decks, and investor updates.

Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred.

• Experience: 5–8 years in accounting and finance within a manufacturing or process

industry.

• Hands-on experience with Tally, Excel (advanced), and ERP systems.

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST/TDS, and compliance norms.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.

• Ability to work independently and in close coordination with leadership and auditors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
