Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance and audits. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate accounting. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. General Ledger Management Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight Supervise vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections. Monitor aging reports and resolve discrepancies. Taxation & Compliance Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns. Support audits and ensure adherence to local compliance regulations. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in preparation of budgets and variance analysis. Support financial planning processes with insights and data. Audit Support Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and internal audits. Prepare necessary schedules, reconciliations, and documentation. Process Improvements Identify opportunities for process automation and improved financial controls. Support implementation of accounting tools and ERP systems. What We're Looking For 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in mid to large-sized organizations Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Indian GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is a plus) Experience in handling taxation, audit processes, and compliance Proficient in Tally, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books), and Excel High attention to detail, integrity, and ownership mindset Ability to manage timelines and work independently with minimal supervision CA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com preferred; full CA is a plus but not mandatory Show more Show less
