Senior Accountant

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the payday loans industry. This role involves overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, managing collections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of short-term lending operations, cash flow management, and customer account reconciliation. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize financial processes and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Bank Reconciliation: Regular reconciliation of bank statements to ensure accurate records of financial transactions.2. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source): Handle the TDS calculations, deductions, and ensure timely payment and filing.3. Data Entry: Efficiently manage data entry for all financial transactions to maintain up-to-date record.4. Debtor and Creditor Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation for both debtors and creditors to ensure the accuracy of balances.5. GST Filing: Preparation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws.6. Advanced Excel: Utilize advanced Excel skills for data management, reporting, and analysis of financial data.7. Loan Disbursement: Assist in the processing and disbursement of loans, ensuring proper documentation, and compliance with internal procedures8. Bank Coordination & Reconciliation: Regularly coordinate with the bank for smooth processing of payments, collections, and queries.9. Salary, PF & ESI Knowledge: Should have a sound understanding of payroll processes, including the calculation and disbursement of employee salaries and must be familiar with the statutory requirements related to Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI), including deduction and deposit procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
