Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Accountant

About the Role (Overview)

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by

controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Accountant responsibilities include reconciling of ledgers and GST returns and general

ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.

A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of

accounting principles to analyse financial reports and forecasts

Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting

tasks.

How You will Add Value (Core responsibilities)

Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Well knowledge of accounting voucher creating, general entries, credit notes, debit

notes, purchase and sell entries.

Well knowledge of GST Returns (GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 2A & 2B, GSTR 9 and other

GST return related issues)

Well knowledge of Income Tax Filling & TDS Return Filling Process.
Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
Analyse financial information and summarize financial status
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Support month-end and year-end close process
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and

strengthen internal controls

Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results
Analysing financial information and summarizing financial status
Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential
Well Versed with MS Excel and MS Word.
