Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in GST, TDS, and all statutory filings. The candidate must be capable of independently handling the entire accounts department, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely financial reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory Compliance (Primary Focus)

Complete GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns).
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment & filing (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
Ensure compliance with Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other regulations.
Prepare and maintain all statutory records and documentation.

Accounting & Financial Management

Manage full accounts: journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet.
Conduct monthly & yearly closing of books.
Oversee accounts receivable, payable, and timely reconciliation.
Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation & debtor management.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.
Coordinate with auditors for internal/external audits.

Senior-Level Responsibilities

Lead & supervise junior accounting staff.
Maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes.
Provide financial insights and management reports to leadership.
Ensure timely compliance and accuracy in all financial activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
5+ years of experience with a strong command over GST & TDS.
Proficient in Tally Prime, Excel, and accounting standards.
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage accounts independently.
Excellent understanding of statutory compliance and taxation laws.
