Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Manage day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handle books in

    Zoho Books

    and

    Tally ERP

    .
  • Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and monthly financial statements.
  • Oversee petty cash and expense tracking.

2. Invoicing & Billing

  • Create, issue, and maintain

    sales invoices

    ,

    purchase invoices

    , and

    billing statements

    .
  • Ensure timely billing and follow-up with clients for payments.
  • Validate invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, or agreements.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and support the collection process.
  • Ensure invoice accuracy as per GST guidelines.

3. GST & Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and file

    GSTR-1, GSTR-3B

    , and annual GST returns.
  • Manage GST reconciliation and resolve mismatches.
  • File

    TDS returns

    , generate challans, and ensure timely compliance.

4. Bank & Vendor Reconciliation

  • Perform

    weekly and monthly bank reconciliation

    .
  • Reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly.
  • Track payments, receipts, and outstanding ledgers.

5. Payroll Management

  • Process monthly payroll including attendance, deductions, incentives, and final salary sheets.
  • Manage PF, ESI, and statutory deductions.

6. Financial Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare MIS reports, balance sheet, P&L statements, and cash-flow analysis.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.

7. Software & Tools

  • Work efficiently on

    Zoho Books, Tally ERP, CRM software, and Excel

    .
  • Maintain organized financial documents and digital records.

Preferred candidate profile

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Minimum

    5 years of experience

    in full-cycle accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of

    GST, TDS, invoicing, payroll, and reconciliations

    .
  • Excellent command over

    Zoho Books, Tally, Excel

    , and accounting systems.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and independent working style.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
