Job Title: Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager – Accounting Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Manager – Accounting / Finance Controller Location: Delhi Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant /Assistant Manager – Accounting to support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting functions including ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, compliance, and monthly reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage a small team. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory regulations, and internal policies. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and resolve audit findings. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with timely financial insights. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Manage and mentor junior accounting staff and support their professional development. Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function. Work closely with the finance manager and senior leadership for financial planning and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus). Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred. 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.). Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in IT, retail, etc.]. Knowledge of local taxation and statutory compliance (e.g., GST, TDS, etc.). Familiarity with ERP systems and automation tools.
