SCM Consultant - Deputy Manager
Your Main Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional stream for SAP modules – MM, PP, QM, LE, VC– in day-to-day operations, enhancements, and projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design scalable SAP solutions, and ensure smooth process alignment.
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP functional consultants; allocate work and monitor performance.
- Drive end-to-end SAP project lifecycle: requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Provide basic debugging and technical coordination with ABAP developers for custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and maintain documentation and change management protocols.
- Handle vendor coordination for SAP support and third-party integrations.
- Support audit, compliance, and internal control processes for SAP transactions and security roles.
- Stay updated with new SAP trends, tools, and HANA capabilities for potential adoption.
- Knowledge of SAP ARIBA and MES systems is needed.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Proven leadership in managing teams and driving cross-functional SAP projects.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Experience in manufacturing industry processes such as discrete or process manufacturing, supply chain, and finance

- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and data transparency through better utilization of SAP ECC capabilities and automation via connected platforms.
- Support the adoption of standardized global manufacturing templates and KPIs across regions to ensure consistent reporting and performance management.
- Govern external teams through structured engagement models, project tracking, performance reviews, and escalation handling.
Key Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience as an SAP consultant in Supply Chain/Manufacturing.
- Bachelor of Engineering or similar qualifications.
- SAP certification preferred.
