This is a remote position.Location: Onsite u2013 United StatesPosition Type: ContractKATBOTZ LLC is seeking seasoned SAP RTR (Record to Report) Onsite Lead to manage end-to-end RTR processes and serve as the primary point of contact between onsite stakeholders and the offshore delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional background in SAP Finance modules and proven expertise in leading global SAP implementations, rollouts, or support engagements.Key Responsibilities
- Act as the onsite lead for the SAP Record-to-Report (RTR) workstream, coordinating with business stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.
- Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Lead and participate in workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs with business and IT teams.
- Manage configuration, integration, testing, and deployment of SAP RTR components (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Consolidation, etc.).
- Support Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with other functional teams (PTP, OTC, FP&A, CO, etc.) for seamless end-to-end finance process integration.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and internal controls (SOX, GAAP/IFRS standards).
- Provide production support and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the RTR domain.
- Lead status reporting, issue management, and stakeholder communication.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer to business and technical teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of SAP FICO/RTR experience, with at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations as an RTR Lead.
- Deep understanding of SAP Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Taxation, Consolidation) modules and integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, etc.).
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of business processes in accounting, reporting, and financial controls.
- Excellent skills in requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to interface with senior finance stakeholders and translate business requirements into IT solutions.
- Experience working in a global delivery model (onsite-offshore).
- Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
- US work authorization is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Certification in Finance or FICO.
- Experience in integration with Central Finance or Group Reporting.
- Exposure to automation tools (RPA, AI/ML for finance processes) or reporting tools (BW/BI, SAC).
- Experience in pharma, manufacturing, or consumer goods industries is an added advantage.
Education
- Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, MBA Finance) are a plus.
