Job Description

As a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering impactful training programs to dealer Sales and Aftersales teams & ensure the dealer network to be knowledgeable, skilled and competent to represent the brand values in the market. You will also ensure readiness of the sales personnel to handle market level competition in terms of sales, value added services & customer satisfaction there by ensuring the highest quality of customer interactions.


Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Deliver structured training programs for Sales and Aftersales personnel across Porsche dealerships.
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-the-job coaching sessions on product knowledge, sales process, customer management, IT systems, business management, and people skills.
  • Onsite training and coaching at dealership site.


Brand Representation & Engagement

  • Represent Porsche brand values in training delivery, personal behavior, and appearance.
  • Participate in brand events such as skill contests—owning tasks from conceptualization to end-to-end execution.


Content Development & Management

  • Make minor modifications and updates to existing training content according to the market requirements
  • Vet and validate training materials in line with Porsche guidelines.


Digitalization & Innovation

  • Create or support the development of digital training assets like videos, app-based learning content, and microlearning modules.
  • Continuously explore and implement best practices to improve learning experience & enhance efficiency.


Self-Development & Continuous Learning

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, market developments, and training methodologies.
  • Attend pedagogy workshops, international training events, and Train the Trainer (TTT) programs.


Strategic Consultation

  • Provide training-related consultancy support for key projects such as new product launches, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement programs.


Administration & Coordination

  • Draft and maintain the Porsche annual training calendar.
  • Drive nominations and coordinate with dealer teams for timely participation.
  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and certification data.
  • Ensure readiness for training events and meetings, including logistics and reporting.
  • Carry out Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to align training delivery with business KPIs.
  • Submit post-training reports and update internal/external stakeholders within defined timelines.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Automotive Technology & Market Trends -

    Strong knowledge of the latest vehicle technologies and market developments.
  • Coaching & Motivating Skills -

    Ability to coach dealer teams and inspire behavioral and performance changes.
  • Experience in Dealership Operations -

    Understanding of real-world dealer business models and daily workflows.
  • Brand & Product Knowledge -

    In-depth understanding of Porsche’s brand values, heritage, and product range.
  • Communication & Business Communication

    -

    Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of business-level interaction.


Qualification & Requirements:

Diploma / BE / MBA / Graduate in any stream with additional qualification / specialization in Business topic Instructional design background (preferred)

On Site Position, based out of Chakan, Pune with willingness to travel frequently


Years of Experience

Senior Trainer: 10+ years of experience in relevant industry.

OEM work experience preferred.
