Job Description

Role PurposeTo drive dealer activation, secure advance orders, and achieve monthly sales targets in assigned districts, ensuring complete coverage and strong channel relationships for MoonAir’s air cooler business. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Target Achievement Achieve assigned monthly/seasonal sales volume & value targets (advance payment model). Secure advance bookings before the peak season (Feb–May). Push replenishment orders during the season to maximise sell-out. Channel Development Identify, onboard, and activate new dealers & sub-dealers in assigned territory. Maintain an active dealer network with 80%+ ordering monthly. Ensure distributor coverage in all target districts. Dealer Relationship Management Conduct regular market visits (minimum 20 productive calls/week). Resolve dealer concerns and maintain strong trade relationships. Communicate schemes, offers, and product updates clearly to dealers. Branding & Merchandising Compliance Ensure 90%+ dealers have MoonAir POSM/display installed. Conduct branding audits and share photographic proof via CRM app. Market Intelligence Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and schemes in the territory. Report market trends and dealer feedback to management. Reporting & Coordination Submit daily sales & collection reports via CRM/WhatsApp. Coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries. Share monthly coverage & performance reports with State Manager. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales Achievement: ≥100% of monthly target (₹0.45–0.75 Cr off-season, ₹1.0–1.25 Cr peak). Active Dealer Rate: ≥80% ordering monthly. New Dealer Onboarding: ≥3/month off-season, ≥1/month peak. Branding Compliance: ≥90% of outlets branded. Market Visit Productivity: ≥20 productive visits/week. Required Skills & Qualifications1–4 years’ experience in channel sales (FMCG, consumer durables, appliances preferred). Strong negotiation & relationship-building skills. Ability to work under seasonal pressure and tight timelines. Comfortable with frequent travel within assigned territory. Basic smartphone/CRM reporting skills. Performance-based monthly & seasonal incentives. Travel allowance & mobile reimbursement. Annual performance-linked bonus. Growth Path High performers → promotion to Territory Manager / State Manager within 1–2 seasons.
