Sales Development Intern


Key Responsibilities


The intern will be responsible for supporting the SDR and Sales teams through the following activities, focusing on learning and execution:


  • Market Research & Intelligence:

    Conduct in-depth research on target markets, potential clients, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities for the SDR team.
  • Lead Identification & Data Management:

    Proactively identify potential leads using platforms like LinkedIn and industry directories, and ensure accurate entry and maintenance of prospect data in the CRM system.
  • Prospecting Support:

    Assist in crafting and preparing initial outreach communications (email templates, LinkedIn messages) for targeted campaigns under the guidance of a mentor.
  • Sales Enablement Support:

    Help organize, categorize, and prepare sales and marketing collateral (e.g., case studies, product sheets) for the sales team's use.
  • Outreach & Qualification (Supervised):

    Participate in and shadow initial qualification calls and email follow-ups to learn the process of qualifying leads based on established criteria.
  • Competitor Analysis:

    Gather and document information on competitors' offerings and positioning to support refined go-to-market strategies.
  • Reporting & Analytics Support:

    Assist in tracking and summarizing key sales metrics and activities within the CRM to help measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Learn to work with the Marketing and Product teams to provide initial market feedback and understand campaign alignment.


What we are looking for?


  • Education:

    A recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Interest in Technology:

    A strong, demonstrable interest in SaaS, technology, or enterprise software, ideally with a basic understanding of HRTech or workplace solutions.
  • Communication:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional and confident in interacting with team members.
  • Learning Agility:

    A highly motivated and self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn the full B2B sales development cycle.
  • Digital Skills:

    Familiarity with professional platforms like LinkedIn; basic knowledge or willingness to learn CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Work Ethic:

    Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple small tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability:

    Eager to receive constructive feedback and quickly apply new skills and techniques.
