To strengthen the institution’s growth trajectory, we are looking for a high-performing Sales & Marketing Head with a proven track record in admissions growth, school branding, and relationship-driven sales.
Position Overview
The Sales & Marketing Head will lead the school’s complete admissions, marketing, branding, and outreach function. The role requires strong strategic thinking, hands-on execution, team leadership, and deep experience in managing school admissions cycles. The incumbent will be responsible for driving student enrolments, strengthening the school’s market positioning, and ensuring sustained year-on-year growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Sales Management
Own and drive the complete admissions cycle from lead generation to final admission closure.
Achieve monthly and annual admission targets across grades.
Create and execute parent engagement and conversion strategies.
Lead school tours, counselling sessions, and admission events.
Maintain strong conversion ratios through follow-ups and personalized engagement.
2. Marketing & Brand Building
Develop annual marketing plans aligned with school growth objectives.
Strengthen the school’s brand identity through digital, offline, and community campaigns.
Manage website, SEO, online listings, and social media presence.
Conceptualize and execute school promotional videos, brochures, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
Collaborate with academic teams to highlight achievements, accolades, and milestones.
3. Lead Generation & Outreach
Build and manage partnerships with corporates, apartments, preschools, daycares, and community groups.
Conduct outreach events, school fairs, parent seminars, and open-house programs.
Develop BTL activities like roadshows, kiosks, banners, and local advertising to strengthen brand reach.
Manage and expand digital lead-generation campaigns.
4. Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage the Admissions & Marketing team.
Define clear KPIs and performance metrics.
Monitor daily performance and drive a result-oriented culture.
Work closely with the school leadership for departmental alignment.
5. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research.
Identify new opportunities for student enrolment and brand expansion.
Track trends in the K–12 education sector to optimize marketing strategy.
Provide regular reports and dashboards to management.
6. Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Principal, Academic Coordinators, and School Management for communication alignment.
Ensure excellent parent experience throughout the admissions journey.
Represent the school at external events and forums.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education Management, or related fields.
Experience
Minimum 7–12 years of experience in Sales/Marketing.
At least 4–5 years of proven experience in school admissions (mandatory).
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding admissions targets.
Experience in managing marketing teams and campaigns.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
Deep understanding of parent expectations and schooling trends.
Expertise in digital marketing and lead management tools (CRM).
Strong relationship-building skills.
