Job Title: Sales Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth within the education sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the education market. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and achieving our sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand market share in the education sector.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals. Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, school districts.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Use insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports. Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the company's educational products and services. Ensure the sales team is knowledgeable and can effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close deals with clients. Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and client expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay feedback from clients to the product development and customer service teams to improve offerings and address concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the education sector.
  • Skills:
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of the education market and trends.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
