Job Title: Sales Manager – Pune

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and performance-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in Pune. The ideal candidate must have relevant experience in electric vehicles, bicycles, automotive, or consumer durable industries.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for electric bicycles.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for retail, B2B, institutional, and fleet customers.
  • Expand dealer network and manage onboarding, training, and performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities with corporates, schools, delivery companies, government bodies, and channel partners.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, dealers, and key stakeholders.
  • Handle customer inquiries, provide product demos, and support after-sales requirements.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through timely communication and support.

Operations & Market Management

  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and trends.
  • Drive promotional activities, events, test-ride campaigns, and roadshows.
  • Monitor inventory, coordinate with production/logistics for timely deliveries.
  • Ensure proper display, branding, and merchandising at dealer locations.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates.
  • Track sales performance against targets and suggest corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to build and manage dealer networks.
  • Good understanding of market dynamics in EV / bicycle / automotive industries.
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead sales teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or any relevant field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred (not mandatory).

Experience Required

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in:
  • Electric vehicles
  • Bicycles/E-bicycles
  • Automotive (2W/3W)
  • Consumer durables or mobility products
  • Experience in dealer development and B2B sales will be an added advantage.

Salary Range

(You can insert as per your company policy, e.g., ₹4–8 LPA + incentives)
