Job Description

Job Title: Sales Head – Steel Reefer Containers / Cargo Containers

Location: Entire Tamil Nadu
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Managing Director / CEO
Experience: 10+ years in B2B sales of industrial products (preferably containers, steel fabrication, or cold chain logistics)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead and drive the sales of steel reefer containers and cargo containers. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the logistics, cold chain, or container manufacturing sectors, with proven success in B2B sales, team leadership, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Planning:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve organisational sales targets for reefer and cargo containers in domestic and international markets.
  • Business Development:

Identify new clients across logistics, cold storage, exporters/importers, and shipping companies. Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of regional and field sales executives. Set targets, monitor performance, and build a high-performing sales team.Track market trends, customer behavior, competitor activity, and pricing to adapt sales strategies accordingly.Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, RFPs, pricing proposals, contract negotiation, and post-sale follow-up.Work closely with manufacturing and design teams to customize container specifications as per client needs.Maintain sales records, pipelines, and client data. Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or container sales
  • Strong understanding of steel container manufacturing, logistics, and cold chain systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Familiarity with domestic and international logistics markets
  • Willingness to travel frequently for business meetings and trade expos

  • Cold chain logistics
  • Container manufacturing (reefer/cargo)
  • Steel fabrication and engineering products
  • Shipping and export packaging solutions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
