Job Title: Head of Sales

Location: All Kerala

Reports to: CEO / Managing Director / Chief Commercial Officer

Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead and scale our sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing high-performing teams, and driving business growth. This is a leadership role with direct impact on revenue, customer acquisition, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy to meet revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align on business goals and customer experience.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and incentive structures for the sales team.
  • Recruit and train new sales team members as needed.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of sales experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in CRM tools and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Education Industry will be a plus
  • Existing network of industry contacts and clients.
  • International or multi-regional sales experience (if applicable).
