We are currently looking to hire a motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic team and help us strengthen our customer base while achieving business growth targets. Position Overview As a Sales Executive at NK Gossain Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for generating leads, building strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and achieving revenue targets. You will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth strategy by driving sales initiatives across designated territories and market segments. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, possess excellent communication skills, and be results-oriented. A graduate degree is required, and knowledge of the local market in Kolkata is preferred. Key Responsibilities Client Acquisition & Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through cold calling, networking, references, and online/offline research. Follow up on leads provided by the marketing or business development team. Sales Presentation & Product Knowledge: Present company products or services to clients in a professional manner. Demonstrate a clear understanding of product features, pricing, and benefits. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers. Provide after-sales support and resolve customer queries or issues in a timely manner. Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets as set by the management. Regularly update sales pipelines and report progress. Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities. Provide valuable feedback to the marketing and product teams to refine strategy. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare accurate records of customer interactions, sales reports, and daily activity reports. Use CRM tools, Excel sheets, or other software as required. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinate with the logistics, finance, and product teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction. On-field Visits (if applicable): Travel locally within Kolkata and surrounding regions to meet clients, conduct product demos, and close deals. Candidate Profile Educational Qualification: A Graduate Degree in any discipline (B.Com, B.A, B.Sc, BBA, etc.) Additional certifications in sales, marketing, or customer service are a plus. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or related roles. Prior experience in B2B or B2C sales will be highly advantageous. Experience in the Kolkata market or familiarity with regional business dynamics is preferred. Skills Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of sales techniques and customer behavior. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, spreadsheets, etc.) Familiarity with CRM software and digital tools is a bonus.
