Additionally, Rajog Equipment has diversified into the automobile sector with a fully equipped sheet metal fabrication shop, inclusive of laser cutting and bending machinery.

1. Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of machining processes (CNC, VMC, turning, grinding)
• Knowledge of sheet metal operations (bending, punching, laser cutting, welding)
• Knowledge of heavy fabrication (structures, frames, tanks, vessels)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T)
• Understanding of welding symbols & fabrication standards
• Knowledge of manufacturing materials (MS, SS, Aluminium, Tool steel, Plates, Profiles, Pipes)
• Basic knowledge of design software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)

2. Estimation & Costing Skills

• Accurate costing of materials, machining time, fabrication hours, and manpower
• Correct calculation of overheads, margins, subcontracting costs
• Experience with preparing BOQs, Cost sheets, and Rate breakdowns
• Understanding of ERP/CRM quoting modules (SAP/Oracle/Tally/Zoho etc.)

3. Sales & Customer Handling Skills

• Strong communication and client interaction skills
• Ability to understand customer requirements and convert into proposals
• Negotiation skills to finalize pricing and terms
• Proposal presentation and technical support during client meetings

4. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

• Ability to evaluate manufacturability of components
• Identifying risks (material availability, tolerances, timelines)
• Suggesting optimized manufacturing solutions to reduce cost and time

5. Documentation & Organizational Skills

• Preparing structured technical–commercial quotations
• Maintaining RFQ records, revisions, approvals, and version control
• Creating standard templates and cost databases
• Time management and priority handling

6. Market & Vendor Knowledge

• Awareness of current market prices of raw material (MS/SS/plates)
• Understanding subcontracting processes (heat treatment, coating, machining)
• Supplier price comparison and vendor negotiation skills

7. Soft Skills

• Team coordination (with production, purchase, QA, design)
• Good presentation and reporting skills
• Customer relationship management (CRM)
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in costing
