Retention Marketing Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a data-driven Retention Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize lifecycle marketing campaigns that increase repeat purchases, LTV, and customer engagement. You will own CRM channels like Email, SMS, and WhatsApp, working closely with brand, creative, and performance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute customer lifecycle campaigns to drive retention, engagement, and upsell.
• Manage end-to-end campaign setup on tools like Klaviyo, MoEngage, WebEngage, or similar.
• Build automated flows for onboarding, reactivation, cross-sell, and win-back.
• Segment customer lists based on purchase behavior, engagement, and demographics.
• Write high-converting campaign briefs and work with designers/copywriters for creatives.
• Track campaign performance, run A/B tests, and optimize for higher CTR, open rate, and conversion.
• Coordinate with performance marketing team to align acquisition and retention strategies.
• Monitor deliverability, unsubscribe rates, and maintain clean databases.
• Report weekly/monthly on retention metrics like Repeat Purchase Rate, LTV, and Churn.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in retention marketing / CRM marketing.
• Proven experience with tools like Klaviyo, MoEngage, WebEngage, or similar.
• Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing and campaign analytics.
• Ability to read and interpret data to make campaign decisions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
