Role Overview

As a Retention Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for building, executing, and optimizing Sneakare’s email and WhatsApp marketing strategy. Your role will be to design personalized customer journeys, create engaging communication, and constantly test and innovate to maximize customer lifetime value.


Key Responsibilities

1.Retention Strategy & Execution

  • Build and execute retention campaigns on Email (Klaviyo) and WhatsApp (Business on Bot).
  • Plan and manage campaigns for product launches, cross-sell, up-sell, re-engagement, and loyalty.
  • Ensure campaign content aligns with Sneakare’s branding and tone.

2.Lifecycle Marketing

  • Create and optimize email and WhatsApp flows (welcome journeys, post-purchase flows, abandoned cart flows, win-back campaigns).
  • Run A/B testing for subject lines, creative content, messaging styles, and CTAs.

3.Audience Segmentation

  • Segment customers based on behavior, purchase frequency, order value, and engagement.
  • Develop specific strategies for high-value customers, dormant customers, and repeat buyers.

4.Performance Tracking

  • Track key retention metrics: repeat purchase rate, churn rate, LTV, CTRs, and conversion.
  • Share reports with actionable insights and improvement plans.

5.Innovation & Optimization

  • Constantly improve email and WhatsApp content through testing and data-driven changes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in retention marketing and implement new ideas.

6.Collaboration

  • Coordinate with design, social media, and product teams to ensure campaign consistency.
  • Work with leadership to align retention campaigns with brand launches and business goals.


Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in email and retention marketing for D2C/e-commerce brands.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo (Email).
  • Exposure to WhatsApp (Business on Bot platforms) for retention campaigns.
  • Knowledge of audience segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle flows.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail.
