Job Description

As a Retention Senior at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving customer loyalty and lifetime value. With 2-3 years of experience in customer retention strategies, lifecycle marketing, and data analysis, you will be responsible for enhancing customer engagement and reducing churn. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing customer retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value and improve engagement. You will design and implement lifecycle marketing campaigns across various channels such as email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. By analyzing customer behavior and purchase patterns, you will identify churn risks and implement proactive retention measures. Utilizing customer segmentation techniques, you will create personalized experiences and targeted messaging. Conducting A/B testing will be essential to optimize retention campaigns and maximize conversion rates. Collaborating with marketing, product, and customer support teams, you will ensure a seamless customer experience. Implementing feedback mechanisms to understand customer needs and drive continuous improvements in the retention strategy will also be a part of your role. Monitoring retention metrics and providing actionable insights for improvement will be key to your success. To excel in this role, you should have 2-3 years of experience in customer retention, lifecycle marketing, or a similar role in an e-commerce or SaaS environment. Your analytical mindset should enable you to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in email marketing tools and SMS marketing platforms, as well as experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools, will be necessary. Strong understanding of customer segmentation, behavior-based targeting, and personalization techniques is essential. Ability to run A/B tests, analyze retention funnel performance, and optimize campaigns accordingly is crucial. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to craft compelling retention messaging. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously will be beneficial. Preferred qualifications include experience in e-commerce, subscription businesses, or SaaS environments, knowledge of customer psychology and behavioral economics, familiarity with loyalty programs and referral marketing, and relevant certifications such as Google Analytics.
