You will own user retention (sessions and repeat purchases) on Furrl by building and executing a sharp, data-driven CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, consumer insight, and creative communication in a D2C / consumer internet environment. 


Key responsibilities include:


Retention Strategy & Targets

  1. Define and execute strategies to hit customer retention targets (D1-D7, M1/M2 etc).
  2. Build and track retention dashboards, identifying drop-offs and opportunities in consumer journeys.
  3. Translate insights into tactical campaigns and long-term retention initiatives.


CRM Marketing Ownership

  1. Design and implement personalized lifecycle journeys (onboarding, first purchase, post-purchase, churn reactivation).
  2. Run targeted campaigns across WhatsApp, email, push, and in-app messaging with clear success metrics.
  3. Work closely with the content team, and conduct A/B experiments on content, timing, segmentation etc to optimize results.


New initiatives

  1. Conceptualize and launch new programs like loyalty or rewards that incentivize repeat purchases.
  2. Explore referral and community initiatives to turn power users into brand advocates.
  3. Collaborate with the product team to design retention-driving features


Requirements

You will thrive in this role if you are smart, driven and an independent thinker with high ownership. Specific requirements of this role include:

  • 2–4 years in CRM/ retention/ growth at a D2C or consumer internet company
  • Proven ability to move the needle on retention and repeat purchases.
  • Strong analytical skills - adept at working with cohort analysis, funnel metrics, and campaign dashboards.
  • Hands-on with CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., MoEngage, WebEngage, Clevertap, Customer.io).
  • Balance of creative storytelling + structured experimentation mindset.
