Resource Management Officer

What will you do?

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Resource Management Officer to support our global staffing processes. You will report to the RMO Manager and work closely together with delivery teams and project leads to ensure optimal resource allocation across projects and entities.

Scope of work:

• Maintain an accurate overview of resource availability and skills across the organization.
• Support project staffing by coordinating resource allocations, tracking utilization, and escalating issues when needed.
• Analyze capacity, forecast demand, and flag risks or gaps in upcoming project plans.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders (Recruitment, Delivery, Finance) to balance resource needs.
• Ensure staffing decisions align with internal policies, team satisfaction, and business priorities.
• Help implement and manage tools used for RMO operations (e.g., resource management platforms or Excel models).

What we ask of you

• 3 to 5 years of experience in resource coordination, project staffing, or operational planning, preferably in IT services or consulting.
• Ability to analyze resource demand and availability and match the right people to the right roles.
• Comfortable with Excel, Smartsheet, or professional services tools (ServiceNow, OpenAir, etc.).
• Good understanding of skills mapping, capacity tracking, and basic project planning principles.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills. You’re able to coordinate between multiple teams and functions effectively.
• Comfortable with working across time zones and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented and structured, with a knack for spotting issues and inconsistencies.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple requests while ensuring fairness and transparency.
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality, especially when dealing with sensitive allocation or performance information.
