Are you ready to take ownership of building a high-impact Resource Management Office? As our RMO Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping how we manage talent across regions, balancing delivery excellence with employee growth and satisfaction. What will you do?

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Manager - Resource Management Office (RMO) to lead and build our India-based RMO team. This role will act as a key enabler of our global staffing and workforce planning capabilities, ensuring the right people are on the right projects at the right time.


Scope of work:

  • Act as a strategic partner to business and delivery leaders to align staffing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Balance employee satisfaction with utilization targets and project allocation demands.
  • Design and implement guidelines, tools, and standardized processes for global resource management.
  • Lead capacity planning cycles and implement mitigation strategies for resource surplus or shortage.
  • Identify and proactively address talent gaps for current and future delivery needs.
  • Review and approve/deny resource allocation requests in collaboration with project and delivery leads.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure resource management effectiveness.
  • Support team expansion and ensure continuity during transitions or changes in team structure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, resource demands, and constraints.
  • Forecast resource needs, analyze availability, and identify potential risks or bottlenecks.
  • Monitor resource utilization and availability, driving continuous optimization across projects.
  • Resolve resource conflicts by working with project managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on resource performance and capacity to senior management.
  • Lead process improvements using technology and best practices to enhance resource efficiency.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and evolving resource management practices to drive innovation.


What we ask of you

  • 8+ years of experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or Project Operations in a consulting or IT environment.
  • Proven experience in building or scaling a Resource Management Office or function.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable resource planning.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, especially in matrixed or global organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with resource management tools, capacity planning models, or PSA platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Mavenlink, Anaplan).
  • Ability to build and present reports, dashboards, and capacity/utilization models.
  • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle planning, forecasting, and FTE allocation strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, implement processes, and coach teams through transitions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging with leadership and operational teams alike.
  • Experience in talent development planning or working closely with HR to align people plans with organizational growth.
