Regional Sales Manager (Hunter) HR Tech SaaS

What you’ll do

  • Own your territory:

    Build and run an outbound engine (calls, email, LinkedIn, events, on-site).
  • Discovery Solutioning:

    Translate complex HR/payroll needs into clear solution narratives with our Solutions team; set up compelling demos/POCs.
  • Deal leadership:

    Multithread CHRO/CFO/IT, navigate InfoSec and procurement, and drive clean commercial closure.
  • Territory OS:

    Maintain live ICP lists, city maps, and competitor traps; plan weekly field routes and micro-events.

What we’re specifically looking for (India MM/ENT fluency)

  • Buying centers & politics:

    Knows how Indian

    mid-market (200–1,500 emp)

    and

    enterprise (1,500–10,000+)

    evaluate HCM—who leads (CHRO), who blocks (IT/Sec), who pays (CFO), and how to socialize pilots.
  • Procurement & compliance:

    Comfortable with Indian procurement cycles (vendor empanelment, SoWs, LD clauses),

    InfoSec questionnaires

    , DPA/MSA redlines, and

    GST + e-invoicing basics

    .
  • Budget timing:

    Understands fiscal calendars (Apr–Mar), quarterly budget releases, and how to position

    TCO/ROI

    vs. existing HRIS/T&A/Payroll stacks.
  • Vertical nuance:

    Can tailor talk-tracks for

    manufacturing, retail, healthcare, IT/ITeS, BFSI

    —multi-entity structures, distributed attendance, WPS/outsourced payroll, etc.
  • Proof creation:

    Knows when to push for a

    time-boxed POC / paid pilot

    , how to set success criteria, and how to secure executive sponsorship.
  • Regional execution:

    Language/relationship sensitivity (Marathi/Hindi in Mumbai, Hindi in NCR, Tamil in Chennai), and comfort doing

    on-site walk-ins/park visits

    where appropriate.
  • Competitor awareness:

    Experience positioning against Darwinbox, ZingHR, PeopleStrong, SAP SF, Oracle, Ramco/ADP in Indian contexts (pricing models, discounting habits, typical gaps).

Must-have

  • 4–6 yrs

    new-logo

    HR tech/HCM/Payroll sales in India.
  • Evidence of

    self-sourcing

    pipeline and converting complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong written & spoken communication; crisp emails, exec-ready decks; confident discovery calls.
  • Working knowledge of integrations (T&A, payroll, finance/ERP), basic APIs/SFTP, and security questionnaires.

Nice-to-have (city fit)

  • Mumbai:

    Marathi/Hindi; BFSI/retail/manufacturing connects.
  • Delhi NCR:

    Hindi; public sector/healthcare/ITeS exposure.
  • Chennai:

    Tamil; manufacturing/auto/ports networks.
