EdTech Recruiter - Bengaluru (Work From Office) Location:Bengaluru, Karnataka (Work From Office) Reporting to:Head of Recruitment / Founder's Office Travel:Minimal (Local travel for specific events/interviews as needed). Job Type:Full-time Job Details - Shikshakji Group is seeking an exceptional, immediately available EdTech Recruiter to join our high-performing talent acquisition team in Bengaluru. This is a critical, Work From Office role focused on scaling human capital by sourcing and securing top talent for our clients in the fast-paced Education Technology (EdTech) sector, covering roles from technology and product to content and sales. We are preferring candidates ready to join immediately and who are willing to commit for the long term. You must be highly driven, organized, ready to work under pressure, and possess a solution-centric approach to overcome recruitment challenges. Key Responsibilities and Key Result Areas (KRAs)The EdTech Recruiter will drive strategic talent acquisition for our EdTech client base: End-to-End Recruitment Management (KRA): Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for both Technical and Non-Technical EdTech roles (e.g., Instructional Design, Product, Sales, Engineering). Conduct in-depth consultation with client Hiring Managers to define precise requirements and ensure role alignment. Ensure a high-quality, positive Candidate Experience throughout the entire process. Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development (KRA): Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, educational networks, and direct outreach. Proactively build and maintain a robust Talent Pipeline for current and anticipated strategic roles. Training will be provided for ZOHO Recruit and other internal tools; commitment to rapid learning and adoption is essential. Quality of Hire & Offer Management (KRA): Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates on both technical skills and understanding of pedagogical/EdTech domain. Handle complex offer negotiations to achieve consistently high Offer Acceptance Rates. Conduct market research to stay updated on compensation and hiring trends in the competitive Bengaluru EdTech market. Data & Compliance (KRA): Maintain accurate and timely data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to measure recruitment efficiency and provide actionable insights. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Time-to-Fill and Time-to-Hire: Achieve targeted turn-around times for various roles, demonstrating efficiency under pressure. Quality of Hire Score: Measured by Hiring Manager satisfaction (Feedback Score) and new hire retention/performance after 90 days. Offer Acceptance Rate: Consistently achieve a high percentage of offers accepted versus extended. Sourcing Channel Effectiveness: Proven success in diversifying and maximizing results from low-cost sourcing channels. First-Year Turnover Rate: Maintain a minimal attrition rate for candidates hired. Candidate Profile & Selection ProcessExperience: 2+ years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, with specific experience recruiting for the EdTech industry or similar technology/startup environments preferred. Commitment: Must be willing to work for long term and thrive in a results-oriented environment. Mindset: Strong solution-centric approach to problem-solving, highly organized, and an excellent verbal/written communicator (English and Hindi). Technical Readiness: Eagerness to undergo training for ZOHO Recruit and other internal systems and rapidly apply the knowledge. Location: Non-negotiable readiness to work from the office in Bengaluru. Selection Process: We are preferring candidates ready to join immediately. If you are shortlisted, you will be called for a face-to-face interview within 1-2 days at our Bengaluru office. Post successful selection, an offer will be extended, followed by comprehensive product and process training.
