About the Role:

The QA engineer role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure the platform runs smoothly and meets all requirements, while being cost-effective.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.

This exciting role requires the candidate to have the ability to meet tight deadlines, and great organizational skills. A high level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and switch gears at a moment's notice. The candidate should enjoy a rapidly changing environment wherein they can use their existing skills and nurture new ones.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Proven experience as a QA/Test engineer.
• Experience of testing web and mobile applications (both Android and iOS) .
• Create tests to identify software problems.
• Write automated tests.
• Analyse bugs and errors found during tests.
• Document results of tests for the software development team.
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
• Knowledge of Jira, Git, Agile and Scrum.
• Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs
• Research and compare similar competitor products
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Assist with building estimates.
• Write technical documentation.
• Work with Tech Lead to improve the application.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Maximum Experience 2 years
• Testing of Android and iOS applications.
• Minimum 1 years experience in Manual testing.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Should have prior knowledge of GIT and Jira

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus.
• Understanding of Python, SQL,XML and Java is a plus.
• Experience of building and maintaining quality relationships with executives and senior management, demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly
• Experience with B2C products is a plus.
• Understanding of the Health Tech industry is a plus.
• Proactive, self-motivated, curious & hungry to learn. Willing to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of designated tasks.
• Stress tolerant and well organized with the ability to prioritize heavy workload.
