Role Description

Procurement & Sourcing

·        Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle: requisitioning, purchase order (PO) creation, order tracking, and delivery.

·        Identify, evaluate, and on-board reliable domestic and international vendors.

·        Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best value for the company.

·        Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark costs and source competitively.

Vendor & Contract Management

·        Establish and maintain long-term vendor relationships to ensure consistency and quality.

·        Monitor vendor performance based on delivery timelines, service standards, and cost-effectiveness.

·        Address and resolve supplier disputes, delivery delays, or quality issues promptly.

Project Coordination

·        Collaborate with engineering, design, and project teams to forecast procurement requirements.

·        Ensure purchases meet technical specifications, project schedules, and quality benchmarks.

·        Monitor stock levels and maintain buffer inventory to prevent project delays.

Budgeting & Cost Control

·        Track and manage procurement budgets in line with approved financial limits.

·        Implement cost optimization strategies while maintaining compliance and quality.

·        Prepare detailed reports on procurement performance, savings, and vendor evaluations for management review.

Compliance & Documentation

·        Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, statutory requirements, and industry standards.

·        Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, vendor communications, and invoices.

·        Draft professional correspondence including RFQs, tenders, agreements, and vendor letters.

Team & Process Management

·        Lead, mentor, and supervise procurement team members, assigning tasks and evaluating performance.

·        Streamline procurement processes and integrate ERP/HRMS tools for efficiency.

·        Continuously review processes to enhance accuracy, transparency, and turnaround time.
