About the Company: Agronic Food Pvt. Ltd. is a leading exporter of certified organic food products, known for our commitment to quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing. We serve global clients across the food, nutraceutical, and wellness sectors and are expanding our procurement team to meet growing demands. Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage vendor communications, source high-quality raw materials, and ensure timely procurement in line with production requirements. The role demands strong negotiation skills, process adherence, and coordination with multiple departments. Key Responsibilities: - Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for organic food products (spices, herbs, oils, etc.) - Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs) as per internal requirements - Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules - Maintain updated records of purchases, delivery timelines, and vendor invoices - Coordinate with quality control and warehouse teams to ensure receipt and inspection of goods - Follow up with suppliers for timely dispatches and resolve delivery issues - Monitor inventory levels and suggest reordering when necessary - Assist in audits, supplier evaluations, and documentation for certifications (NOP, NPOP, EU Organic, etc.) - Prepare procurement reports and assist in cost-saving initiatives - Conduct supplier/vendor and farm visits as required to ensure product quality, compliance, and relationship building Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 1-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food or FMCG sector (Desirable) - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems - Knowledge of organic certifications and compliance is a plus - Ability to multitask and work under pressure Why Join Agronic: - Be part of a fast-growing export company with international exposure - Contribute to ethical and sustainable sourcing practices - Gain cross-functional experience across supply chain, quality, and logistics - Work in a transparent and team-oriented environment Show more Show less
