Purchasing Executive

In this role as a Purchase Executive at Agronic Food Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial part in managing vendor communications, sourcing high-quality raw materials, and ensuring timely procurement aligned with production requirements. Your proactive and detail-oriented approach will be essential in maintaining strong negotiation skills, process adherence, and coordination with various departments within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for organic food products such as spices, herbs, and oils. - Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs) according to internal requirements. - Maintain updated records of purchases, delivery timelines, and vendor invoices. - Coordinate closely with quality control and warehouse teams to guarantee the receipt and inspection of goods. - Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely dispatches and resolve any delivery issues that may arise. - Monitor inventory levels and recommend reordering when necessary. - Assist in audits, supplier evaluations, and documentation for certifications such as NOP, NPOP, and EU Organic. - Prepare procurement reports and support cost-saving initiatives. - Conduct visits to suppliers, vendors, and farms as needed to ensure product quality, compliance, and relationship building. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree. - 1-3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the food or FMCG sector (Desirable). - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems. - Knowledge of organic certifications and compliance is a plus. - Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
