Purchase Engineer

Position: Technical Purchase Engineer Department : Purchase Education: B.E. Mechanical Industry: Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy Manufacturing Skills: ERP Excellent communication skills Strong negotiation capabilities Experience: 2 year to 4 years (Preferred) Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Key Responsibilities: · Experience in acquiring various bought-out components. · Familiarity with purchasing industrial equipment and hardware , including: o Valves o Motors o Boilers o Pumps Procurement of Materials: Purchase essential raw materials and components for the manufacturing of hydrogen and oxygen generation plants, biogas purification systems, storage tanks, and specialized coating applications . Metallurgy Expertise: Strong understanding of stainless steel, carbon steel, and specialized alloys used in industrial manufacturing. Flanges & Piping Procurement: Experience in sourcing flanges, pipes, fittings, and other critical materials required for industrial equipment fabrication. Supplier Evaluation & Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough vendor assessments , perform cost-benefit analysis , and select suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines . Request for Proposal (RFP) Management: Develop and distribute detailed RFPs , specifying technical requirements and procurement standards for materials and services. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and safety standards . Order & Inventory Management: Monitor purchase orders , ensure timely procurement, and optimize inventory levels to support continuous manufacturing . Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure uninterrupted supply chains. Regulatory & Compliance Adherence: Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards relevant to oil & gas and renewable energy manufacturing. Qualifications & Experience: Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes, metallurgical materials, and specialized coatings . Negotiation & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and perform cost evaluations. Software Proficiency: Experience in using ERP systems, procurement software, and vendor management tools .
