Job Title : Store Officer Department : Stores / Logistics Reports To : Store Manager / PPC Manager Experience: 2–5 years (preferred in manufacturing/engineering sector) Qualification : Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field Key Responsibilities: Material Handling & Documentation o Maintain gate entry registers for all material inward and outward movements. o Verify physical weight of Solapur castings upon receipt. o Ensure subcontracting material movement with proper Tally challans. o Monitor customer dispatches of finished goods and maintain records. o Arrange vehicles for sub-con material movement and scrap dispatch. GRN and Documentation o Create GRNs for labour charges, consumables, inward components. o Maintain extra copies for customers and suppliers; follow up on missing documents and ensure timely closure. Reconciliation and MIS o Perform supplier reconciliation regularly. o Maintain and report Premium Freight MIS and Transport MIS. o Track and update PMS and QMS (Quality Management System). o Follow up and support in clearing rejections and closing pending issues. Inventory & Stock Management o Conduct monthly stock take planning and ensure compliance. o Manage consumable stock checks, address shortages, and follow up. o Monitor online stock systems and make necessary updates. o Track and escalate material shortages, ensuring timely resolution. Packaging & Logistics o Follow up on empty bin returns from All Resp Customer, and other suppliers. o Manage DC challan tracking and closing procedures. o Handle packaging sign-off from customers and for new customer packaging formats. Compliance & Data Preparation o Prepare ITC-4 data as per compliance needs. o Track shelf-life items, packaging materials, and consumables for expiry and replenishment. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of store operations and inventory management Good understanding of logistics and dispatch planning Proficiency in Tally & Excel for record-keeping and GRN entry Ability to coordinate with suppliers, sub-contractors. Strong documentation and follow-up skills Attention to detail and accuracy in stock verification and record maintenance.
