• Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and managing a company’s overall sourcing Strategy in the Metals, Mining, and Ferroalloys Industries.Researching to understand a company’s operational needs and requirementsBuilding relationships with vendors and key suppliers, reviewing contracts, developing an annual budget based on sourcing needsExecuting analyses and making suggestions for improvement in sourcing strategyNegotiating pricing, delivery terms, payment conditions and reducing costs, ensuring that purchased materials meet quality standards and specifications.Building and leveraging internal business partner relationships to create value-focused strategies that align with goalsProactively, seeking business optimization and cost savings or new capability and developing data-driven business cases to support their initiativesMonitoring inventory levels of raw materials to ensure sufficient stock for production while avoiding overstocking.Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders (production teams, engineers) and external suppliers
