Controls & Instrumentation Engineer

Role Overview: As a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer at our company, your role will involve designing and building control panels, programming Siemens PLC, creating SLD and MLD, and developing control logic from P&ID. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial machinery and processes. Additionally, you will specify, source, and integrate instrumentation devices, develop calibration procedures, and conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency. Collaborating with design engineers, operations teams, and project managers is essential to meet technical requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build control panels - Program Siemens PLC - Create SLD and MLD - Develop control logic from P&ID - Specify, source, and integrate instrumentation devices - Develop and maintain calibration procedures - Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Ensure compliance with industry standards - Perform functional and performance testing of system components - Provide technical support and consultancy for projects Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering - Experience in PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and industrial automation - Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and control loops - Proficiency in programming and configuring control systems - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and teamwork abilities If you hold certifications such as ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST), Professional Engineer (PE) License, or PMP Certification, it would be considered a plus.
