Purchase Engineer – KRA
Qualification: - B.TECH –ELECTRICAL /MECHANICAL.Location-Sector 7, GurgaonExperience Required: - 7~8 Years .Salary Range – Depending Upon experience

1. Procurement Planning & Sourcing
(a) Develop procurement plans aligned with production schedules (motors, pumps, sheet metal parts, plastic components, wiring, Caster wheel etc).(b) Identify, evaluate, and finalize suppliers for raw materials, bought-out parts, and consumables.(c) Maintain alternate vendor development for critical components to avoid supply disruptions.(d) Ensure cost competitiveness through vendor negotiation and market benchmarking.

2. Cost Control & Budgeting
(a) Achieve yearly cost reduction targets through vendor consolidation, volume leverage, and value engineering.(b)) Monitor purchase price variance (PPV) and report monthly savings.(c) Ensure procurement within approved budget while maintaining quality standards.

3. Supplier Management
(a) Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.(b) Ensure supplier compliance with quality, delivery, and documentation requirements. (c) Conduct periodic supplier audits (process capability, quality systems, and capacity).(d) Drive supplier performance improvement and take corrective actions where required.

4. Quality & Compliance
(a) Ensure all purchased items meet company quality standards (motors, pumps, PCBs, injection molded parts, sheet metal, packaging).(b) Work with QA/Production to resolve supplier quality issues.(c) Ensure REACH, RoHS, BIS, and other regulatory compliances as applicable.

5. Inventory & Delivery Management
(a) Monitor lead times and ensure timely availability of components for assembly lines. Maintain optimum inventory levels (avoid stock-outs & overstocking).(b) Coordinate with stores/warehouse for GRN, material reconciliation, and rejection handling.(c) Implement JIT / Kanban practices where possible.

6. Documentation & Systems
(a) Maintain PR/PO records in Tally system.(b)Release and track purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.(c) Ensure vendor bills are processed timely in coordination with Accounts.(d) Maintain vendor database with pricing, lead time, and performance records.

7. Cross-Functional Coordination
(a) Collaborate with Design/New Product Development team for new product sourcing and proto part procurement.(b) Support Production for urgent requirements and shortage handling.(c) Work with QA for incoming inspection plans and rejection management.(d) Assist Costing/Finance team in landed cost analysis.

8. Continuous Improvement
(a) Develop cost-saving projects through localization, alternate sourcing, and material substitution.(b) Implement supplier performance rating system (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service). (c) Participate in VA/VE projects with R&D and Operations.

Note – This Job Involves 30~40 % of the Travelling. Fuel cost will be reimbursed. Applicable Incentive for pre –closure for Part procuremet as per defined Timeline. Bike is Compulsory .

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
