Position: Project Manager   Qualification: B.E. in Civil Engineering Location: PAN India Specialization: Civil   Sector: Civil   Employment Type: Permanent   Salary: 50k to 80k Work schedule: Monday to Saturday Mode of work: On-site (Willingness to travel PAN India) Job Brief: Kess Construction is looking for a dynamic Project Manager with 6-8 years of experience in Corporate & Retail Interior Fitouts, based in Bangalore & PAN India. Key Responsibilities: 1.Project Planning and Coordination: 1.1. Review drawings and develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects. 1.2. Price and forecast material costs for projects. 1.3. Assist Quantity Surveying (QS) Contracts in preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities. 1.4. Track changes to design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly. 1.5. Procure services of contractors/subcontractors for project construction. 1.6. Measure and value work done on-site; liaise with clients and construction professionals. 1.7. Select and source construction materials. 2.Documentation and Reporting: 2.1. Take out quantities and deploy resources by contractors from DPRs (Detailed Project report) to determine costs of disputed items. 2.2. Implement standardized project execution systems. 2.3. Evaluate project reports, take appropriate actions based on findings, and inform stakeholders. 3.Project Management: 3.1. Lead teams for on-time and within-budget project delivery. 3.2. Assess project potential for profitability and prioritize endeavors that yield favorable margins. 3.3. Ensure cost-effective project execution through strategic budgeting. 3.4. Effectively manage on-site disputes and challenges. 3.5. Represent the company in client meetings and confidently explain technical aspects. 4.Resource Management and Staffing: 4.1. Identify staffing needs, specify required professional skills, and collaborate with HR for efficient recruitment processes. 4.2. Oversee multiple projects and manage diverse teams. 5.Anticipate and communicate future growth plans to upper management, helping the company to scale. Minimum Eligibility Criteria: 6-8 years of experience in Civil/Interiors domains. Proven leadership skills in efficient team management. Capable of independently resolving issues, reducing the need for upper management intervention. Proficiency in fundamental measurement skills, estimation, costing and rate analysis to ensure accurate evaluation and assessment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates robust analytical and problem-solving skills. Exposure to contract administration and local byelaws. Flexibility and a willingness to travel to various project locations as needed. Successful completion of a 2-month training program with a focus on assessing and enhancing skills. Additional Qualifications: Preferred skills in MS Office, AutoCAD, and related software. Strong self-motivation is crucial for maintaining high-performance standards and overall team success.
