Job Responsibilities:

  • Review single-line diagrams, control schematics, cable schedules, and electrical load calculations for conformity
  • Inspect and commission MCCs, VFDs, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution networks
  • Validate PLC/SCADA configurations; develop and test control logic for feedstock dosing, biogas compression, and safety interlocks
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation faults (pressure, temperature, flow sensors) and implement calibration protocols
  • Monitor power quality, harmonics, and grounding performance; recommend corrective measures for voltage drops and transients
  • Analyze operational data to optimize electrical energy consumption and reduce reactive power penalties
  • Lead electrical preventive maintenance programs, including thermographic scanning and relay testing
  • Enforce electrical safety practices, permit-to-work procedures, and incident investigation protocols
  • Prepare comprehensive electrical performance reports and present recommendations to senior management


Software Knowledge:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis


Key Skills/Competencies:

  • B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical / Instrumentation & Control Engineering
  • Minimum 2+ years’ work experience in industrial electrical or control systems engineering at any processing / manufacturing plant; Work Experience at Biogas / Waste Treatment plant may have higher preference
  • Demonstrated success in commissioning electrical & automation system
  • Strong understanding of power systems, motor control & automation architecture; Hands-on experience with PLCs and SCADA platforms
  • Proficiency in electrical design software & data-analysis tools
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical safety standards
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for control loops and power electronics
  • Excellent communication skills for technical reporting, cross-team coordination and vendor negotiation – vendor management
  • Willingness to travel regularly for site assessments & commissioning support
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude, Conceptual Thinking, Analytical Ability, Creativity, Learnability
