Job Overview
Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project execution while ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and client satisfaction. The role requires effective coordination with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and risks, and driving successful delivery outcomes aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate expertise in project monitoring, tracking, and controlling the execution cycle to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgeted hours.
Key Responsibilities Primary KRAs Project Planning
- Review Project Requirements Documents i.e. HRD/ FRD/ Wireframes/ Flow charts etc.
- Review Project Plan Document w.r.t to project scope and estimates given.
Project Execution
- Monitor and Regulate Project Initiation process.
- Liaise between business and technology teams to ensure quality software delivery.
- Conflicts Management if there are any issues/concerns reported by any client or project team member.
- Keeping a watch on the projects progress and timelines committed.
- Keeping a track on the projects surveys/ feedbacks requested Vs received.
Quality Control and Audits
- Facilitate project audits.
Client Communication/Experience
- Ensuring the client is happy with the work delivered and is willing to work with FATbit/Ably Soft again, and is willing to share some references as well.
Team Management and Training
- Bridging the gap between BA, Development and QC.
- Improve internal communication to ensure that language doesnt become a hurdle in Project Execution and Delivery.
- Keep the team Motivated.
- Conduct Training Sessions/Knowledge Sharing Sessions.
Processes Management and Implementation
- Ensure the processes defined are being followed by the team.
- Suggest corrective and preventive actions under Project Management/ Delivery Team.
- Contribute to the implementation of process improvements activities within the Project Delivery Team.
- Developing/Strengthening Communication Structure and Project Planning/Delivery Process within the company by offering suggestions and taking lead in the implementation of improved processes.
Self-Improvement Knowledge Sharing Team Training
- Keep himself/herself updated about the latest best practices related to their Job Responsibilities.
- Acquire new skills and knowledge which are in sync with the companys future plans and or your upcoming project requirements.
Resources Management, Allocation and Optimum Utilization
- Keep Idle capacity minimized.
- Allocate the resources available based on ROI vs Cost analysis.
- Regulate & Monitor the work allocation/ capacity of the DEV Team members.
- Resource allocation to different projects/ products.
Secondary KRAs
Pre-Sales
- Support Estimation process.
Project Planning
- Project Planning/Documentation/requirement analysis.
Project Execution
- Closely monitor the project execution cycle.
- Collaborate and Contribute to project execution ceremonies.
Client Communication/Experience
- Communication with clients (as & when required) and team for ensuring there are no gaps.
Team Management and Training
- Offering routine feedbacks as well as observations to mentees regarding their performance.
Required Experience:
- 6 10 Years
- E-commerce, Online Market Places, Mobile Applications, CMS, Open Source Scripts, Social networking portals, On Demand Service Portals.
Qualifications:
- B. Tech, BCA, B. Sc (IT), M. Tech, MCA or M. Sc (IT) Candidates with MBA Degree will be preferred.
- Foreign Language will be considered as a plus point.
- Excellent technical abilities, strong communication skills, and effective project management abilities.
Preferred Industry:
- E-commerce, Online Market Places, Mobile Applications, CMS, Open Source Scripts, Social networking portals, On Demand Service Portals.
Salary, Location and Working Days:
- Salary depending upon the experience, knowledge and communication skills (No bar for deserving candidate).
