The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works towards creating an equitable society to enhance quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The Hans Foundation works for the Health and Wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with an additional focus on children, persons with disabilities and women. THF also works for holistic Education and Livelihood development of our communities. Our Two-Fold Strategy involves identifying and working within Aspirational Districts and high poverty index in the North, North-East and East regions within specific states, as well as catering to lower-income and migratory populations in cities, through urban programs.
Over its 15 years of existence, THF has reached more than 35 million beneficiaries through its programs. THF works with communities through direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing local management and monitoring support to not-for-profit organisations in India funded through THF USA and RIST.
Project Background
The Holistic Rural Initiative for Development Action & Yield (HRIDAY) is a noble initiative of The Hans Foundation, a non-profit organization, working in collaboration with HDFC Bank. The objectives behind the Integrated Village Development Project are rooted in the holistic upliftment of rural communities. By integrating various sectors such as livelihood, education, health, energy, and environmental conservation, the project aims to address the multifaceted challenges faced by villages. The project will be operationalized in Himachal Pradesh. We strive to impact farmers' lives directly through this project.

1. JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to join our team and drive the Project and work on holistic rural development.
a) Project Management
-
Team coordination by conveying task details to each project staff.

Coordinate internal resources and the THF team for the flawless execution of projects
-
Ensure that all project activities and deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and budget

Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.

Ensure resource availability and allocation for the implementation of project activity.

Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
-
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
-
Networking and lesioning with related Departments and boards.
-
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
-
Report and escalate to management as and when needed
-
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
-
Increase project participation in events/exhibitions etc.

Assist THF-HR in the finalization of project staff.
b) Implementation and Monitoring:

Lead the execution of project activities according to the project plan.

Monitor and evaluate project progress, using qualitative and quantitative methods to measure outcomes and impact.

Ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during implementation.
c) Team Leadership and Capacity Building:

Manage and support project staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and community members to build local capacity and ensure sustainability.
d) Reporting and Documentation:
-
Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, donors, and other stakeholders.

Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.

Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping of all project activities and data.
e) Production and marketing
-
To execute all the training on time with the available budget.

Ensuring periodic maintenance of all the equipment, tools and machinery in the project locations

To meet the deadline and quality standards in the production
-
Approval of budgeting, timelines, instructions, and their strict implementation.

Strengthen the production capacity and efficiency of local farmers.
F) Administration
-
Overall responsibility for Project offices and clusters
-
Ensuing maintenance of building and equipment in the unit.
-
Managing the efficiency and welfare of staff.
-
Ensuring timely payments to all suppliers/vendors etc.
-
Maintaining and updating all the databases related to project coverage stakeholder training, production, training and sales.

Ensuring the team is following rules and regulations as per the HR policy

Continuous coordination with the regional office at Dehradun for necessary approvals.
