Production Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the production lines for beverages (water, juice, and other drinks). The role involves managing manpower, machines, materials, and quality as per TATA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Execution
• Prepare daily and weekly production plans based on demand and availability.
• Ensure timely execution of production schedules.
• Monitor line efficiency, yield, and output.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with the QA/QC team for audits, sampling, and documentation.
• Comply with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and TATA norms.
• Manpower Management
• Supervise and guide production staff and shift in-charges.
• Train operators on SOPs, safety, hygiene, and process improvements.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and morale.
• Machine & Maintenance Coordination
• Ensure machines run smoothly without breakdowns.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain equipment logs and downtime records.
• Inventory & Material Handling
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
• Maintain stock levels and coordinate with the stores team.
• Minimize wastage and rejections.
• Health, Safety & Hygiene
• Enforce safety practices and plant hygiene protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety audits and zero accident targets.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain daily production reports, shift logs, and material consumption records.
• Prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify process improvement areas and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Food Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in beverage or FMCG manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Tetra Pak/Blow Molding/Bottling Lines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with SAP or any ERP system (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
