Roles & Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams for smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
• Capacity Planning: Evaluate plant capacity, recommend improvements, and optimize resources for efficient utilization.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential challenges, implement emergency plans, and resolve production-related issues promptly.
• Manpower & Team Management: Handle workforce allocation effectively and recruit new manpower (workmen and staff) to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Quality: Control external and internal complaints, identify root causes, and take corrective actions by implementing quality tools.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to cosmetic industry standards, ISO 9001, ISO 22716, GMP, and safety regulations.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
• Lead Time Management: Reduce lead time by implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts and monitor lead times for raw materials, production, and dispatch.
• Downtime Management: Control and minimize downtime by tracking MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) while implementing preventive measures.
• Delivery Performance: Ensure adherence to customer delivery schedules.
• Inventory Control & Optimization: Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock, reducing wastage, and aligning raw material availability with production schedules.
• 5S & Kaizen: Implement 5S and foster a Kaizen culture to improve workplace efficiency and safety.
• Cost Control: Track and control production costs, implementing cost-effective methods without compromising quality.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, schedules, reports, and inventory updates for management review.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Cosmetic Manufacturing Processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 22716, GMP, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ERP software for production planning related activities.
• Excellent skills in production scheduling, capacity planning, and manpower management.
• Prior experience in cosmetics, FMCG, pharma, or lifestyle industries preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle large-scale operations.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹550,000.00 per year
