TOI+ and ETPrime are the digital subscription arms of The Times of India and The Economic Times, respectively. TOI+ delivers premium journalism to millions of daily readers, while ETPrime offers deep, insight-led analysis for business professionals.
Both products are at the forefront of building sustainable reader revenue models in India, combining high-quality, differentiated content with engaging digital experiences. Product marketing plays a pivotal role in shaping positioning, go-to-market strategy, and customer lifecycle engagement to maximize growth.
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive high-impact marketing initiatives for ETPrime and TOI+. This role is central to our subscription growth strategy, focusing on crafting positioning, messaging, and campaigns that influence acquisition, engagement, and retention.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, working closely with product, growth, analytics, design, and telecalling teams to ensure marketing outcomes are aligned with business goals.
Positioning & Messaging: Develop and refine messaging frameworks that clearly articulate the value proposition of ETPrime and TOI+.
Go-to-Market: Lead go-to-market campaigns for new subscription plans, features, and offers, ensuring impactful execution across channels.
Funnel Marketing: Design and execute marketing initiatives across the user lifecycle—awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Campaign Execution: Run cross-channel campaigns (email, push, performance marketing, on-platform placements) with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Collaboration: Work with growth, product, analytics, and telecalling to align campaigns with funnel insights, A/B test results, and user behavior data.
Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on campaign metrics; identify opportunities for optimization and iteration.
4–8 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or related roles, preferably in B2C digital media, subscriptions, or consumer internet businesses.
Proven ability to craft compelling product positioning and launch campaigns.
Strong storytelling, copywriting, and messaging skills.
Comfort with funnel metrics, campaign analytics, and data-led marketing decisions.
Ability to work cross-functionally with product, growth, design, and analytics teams.
Execution-focused, detail-oriented, and user-first mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent post-graduation is a plus.
