The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement specialist with 3-5 years of experience to join our procurement team.
What You'll Do
- Validate high-volume PRs for completeness, approvals, and budget alignment.
- Convert approved PRs into POs and ensure correct vendor, price, and delivery terms.
- Supplier onboarding via ERP tool
- Coordinate with the supplier/ finance/accounting team for PO and invoice matching (2-way match).
- Maintain and update vendor master data regularly. Resolve vendor queries related to payments, PO status, and documentation.
- Create RFx in the Sourcing tool- invite bids- shortlist suppliers -analyze the response and take a lead in closing the Sourcing event
- Redline and negotiate with the supplier on the business/commercial terms of the contracts.
- Manage the contact redline of the agreement and become the point of contact between the supplier/ business and the legal team.
- Work with Finance, Accounts Payable, and Legal for approvals and payments.
- Manage the professional services SOW/CO engagement -
- Creation of Contract (manual upload in the ERP tool)
- Maintain the supplier onboarding lifecycle / online and manual process
- Help User/supplier conduct a training/guidance session on the procurement process - including invoice submission /supplier onboarding
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/science/ along with an MBA in Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Procurement domain
- Knowledge of accounting principles and accounting standards will be preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with any Procurement ERP Ivalua/Coupa/ARIBA software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Flexibility to work with team members in different time zones as needed, particularly during the month-end close
- Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills, and stay relevant to business demands
